why I am a therapist

I am drawn to therapy because I know firsthand that resiliency is best fostered in the context of a healthy relationship. My first experiences in therapy as a youth were tremendously helpful in feeling seen, heard, understood, and supported. I would only hope to offer a similar experience.

Working with me will use your strengths and values as anchor points and always remain tailored to you. I truly believe that therapy, and the therapeutic relationship, is a space to be heard, to let your nervous system soften, to deepen your understanding of yourself, and to find the courage to take the steps you choose.

I listen to the same playlist every day, drink lots of tea, and love the feeling of sweater sleeves over my hands

I am the middle child in a large family and the only introvert in the bunch

I am also neurodivergent and a highly sensitive person

I love to read and have an affinity for sad Japanese fiction and fantasy stories
